MUDGIRL is an all inclusive, 5KM race, consisting of 17+ obstacles to overcome.
Whether you are by yourself or in a team, the course is committed to testing the strength, endurance and above all, the good spirit of all participants.
There is no timing and no obligation to complete all the obstacles. You are here for the sole purpose of having fun and having a great experience, regardless of your athletic ability.
Yes, all women between the ages of 7 to 78 (a record to beat!) are invited to participate in MUDGIRL. The short running distance makes this challenge achievable to all levels of athletes.
You don't have to run, as long as you are enjoying yourself, it doesn't matter if you run, walk, or take a break.
Please note that the minimum age to participate is 7 years old.
Children ages 7-13 must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the race.
Anyone who plans to participate in the run will need to purchase a participant ticket.
The Pink Army Foundation was born from the determined, collective efforts of the MUDGIRL community. It supports extraordinary women facing or who have faced breast cancer by offering personalized physical and mental guidance. Guided by specialists and surrounded by a caring community, these women regain strength, confidence, and energy to take on their personal and athletic challenges.
Launched in May 2025, the program is already supporting 24 fighters across the United States and Canada.

Since 2017, Mudgirl has contributed over CAD $779 000 to breast cancer causes. Since 2025, a portion of every Mudgirl profit, including 50% of spectator ticket sales and proceeds from the Pink Army T-shirt, goes directly to the foundation.

Whether it’s a personal challenge or a friend has embarked you on this journey, you are here for a noble cause: the fight against breast cancer.
Therefore you will surpass yourself, sweat, have a few (small) aches, and finally, raise your arms when you cross the finish line... in short, be part of #Pinkarmy!
Hence, there is no excuse to turn around on race day. :)
We can promise you that when the medal is around your neck, you will feel like the proudest woman in the world. But before that, you will have to face the mud and the big slide!
In North America, participation is open to all individuals, regardless of gender.
However, the event remains centered on the experience of women and on the supportive atmosphere that defines the essence of MUDGIRL.
Anyone wishing to participate is welcome, provided they fully respect the participants, the spirit of the event, and its values of kindness, inclusion, and non-judgment.
Any behaviour, attitude, or language that goes against these principles will result in immediate refusal of participation and removal from the event site, without possibility of appeal or refund.
Access to the main changing rooms and showers is restricted to women only in order to ensure privacy, and safety for all participants.
Male participants must use the individual changing tents located next to the volunteer tent to change in privacy.
Nope! Some obstacles may have 2-3’ deep water but the majority are just mud. If you don’t feel comfortable, you can always go around the obstacle.
We all love dogs, but this race environment is out of the ordinary and it’s hard to predict your dog’s behavior. For safety reasons, we cannot accept dogs at our events, even leashed. Thank you for your understanding.
Spectator tickets for non-participants are $10.
Entry is FREE for children under 16 if attending as a spectator.
